Areas of speleological interest
The areas of speleological interest are whatever geographical area with particular speleological interest, with homogeneous lithological and speleo-genetic features. They are thus particularly rich in natural cavities, not necessarily of karstic origin. The biggest and most important karstic areas have been divided into smaller areas according to the main exploration zones.
